In July 2024, we celebrated the one-year anniversary of our home in Medellín, Hogar de Cristo. We returned to the Hogar with our summer mission trip team to celebrate our anniversary together and to serve our children. During this wonderful trip we were able to bring together kids from the Gente Unida children’s home (Hogar Bohio de Maria) and Hogar de Cristo to celebrate with singing, dancing, and tons of group games. Our amazing volunteers also built a playground and supported the home with maintenance work and painting.
It’s been an incredible year at the Hogar and it was so rewarding to see how happy the kids are to live there! We are excited to share the below video to give you a glimpse at the summer’s mission trip:
